Wire/Egg Carton/Papier-mâché Koi Sculpture

This was made as my "Found object/Recycled object" project for a 3D Design class. I started with a wire skeleton, then did a layer of scales made from cut up from egg carton cups, then finally a layer of papier-mâché washi paper from Japan.

My cat had a good time "helping" me in the early stages. :)
